Yep. It's probably so you can use the wall pieces in any orientation ( door positions).

I got a bunch of DMH buildings

Lovely sculpts but some engineering issues as already noted above

The boardwalk really should have been flush on one side to easily attach to the building

And the balcony/awning should not attach halfway between the first floor and the roof/2nd floor, demanding that you leave half of the already meager connection area unglued if you want the top detachable.
