878 VIKINGS Invasion of England

Brillant game and material !  the tiny minis  12 mm are pretty cool, was pretty painful to paint but after 10 hours of painting, it's done

here some pics, i hope the Heathens will like it  

it doesn't reflect the actual games ,it s just a set up for showing the painted minis

Castles are not accurate to the 9 th century but working good on the map,  villages are modified with wooden fences , both from GW mighty empires

Some rumours that the distributor has run out of copies, which seems a bit much as they would have known how many KS copies were due....

it plays great for 1-2 hours   

Light and well made Wargame , card driven and Dices for fight

you can find it in the USA for less than 60$ 

you can also get the rules in PDF in different site,   ACADEMY GAMES website and BGG

good question, it's the Kickstarter edition with age of expansion and streches goal  IT DOESNT INCLUDES VILLAGES AND CASTLES !

Age of expansion includes tokens and scenarios, like burning churches and others quests

the basic game is really enough unless you are a big fan or you don't have other games you play often

The basic game will includes the miniatures instead of cubes, for all worldwide release

Are the villages and castles from the old GW Mighty Empires set?

The Building miniatures expansion for the game has Viking houses and timber palisades to denote forts.

My set came today. Super impressive, especially the big mouse mat board!

Right no Castles at this time,  but a good spot to locate easily the City Shires

I did! I got a bit over excited on the pledge manager.

I like your castles. Maybe not historically accurate but they stand out very nicely.

Also you can always home brew game  '1066 Normans Invasion of England.'
