No worries, as a child of the 70s myself I can understand the hefty pull of lead based nostalgia.  lol

I'm afraid I haven't seen any other luchadors out there, but does someone not make a sprue of separate heads in balaclavas or something that might be easy to make conversions with? Just thinking of the photo you posted of the mask and regular clothes combos.

Hmm, a sprue of luchador mask heads... That's a really good idea!  :)

I ask my friends to show me plastic action figures of Green Lantern, Captain America, and Batman.
They give me bendy figures of fat parody stereotype American superheroes...  lol

Ah, I was just shopping at Crooked Dice yesterday for haberdashed heads with berets — they do have balaclava heads.  A bit of greenstuff and/or carving on the front would be relatively quick work to change them to enmascarado heads.

Years ago, I customised figures for an Ogre BloodBowl team, Los Tornados Enmascarados.  Most of the masks were done simply by painting the face-masked helmets in mask style, some with a bit of green stuff for the lower half.  El Violado got the pure mask look:

Hey I have some of those balaclava heads upstairs. CD heads tend to be on the small side imho, but I'll dig 'em out and see how they look. I've done a fair bit of sculpting. Another good idea!
