Burma 1942
« on: 03 October 2020, 12:36:51 PM »
Really love the number of Burma threads running at the moment- some very useful links/info and inspiration

Been meaning to kickstart a little Burma retreat project for a while, collected and fiddled with a few bits, but like most things been sat in a box for while

Something about a poorly equipped force, facing an underestimated threat from the east, mired in political infighting and incompetence seemed appropriate...

(With undertones of Too late the hero and Darkies Mob)

Loosely based for CoC
1 platoon (KOYLI) in tin lids, with assorted infantry support (in mix of head gear for ID purposes) and some light weight armour

Bit of test work on colours - hope to bash through in batches over the next few weeks

Yes some of the kit is “slightly” less than 100% historically accurate, likewise colour schemes

Anyone know of a source for 28mm gas mask bags??

Lovely stuff!

ONE day I'll get my 1942 15mm army painted.  All I've done thus far are two Stuarts (plus a die-cast AVG Warhawk)!
