Where to find Sci-Fi 54mm miniatures?
« on: 12 February 2024, 03:03:01 PM »
I've recently become passionate about 54mm scale miniatures, as I've painted numerous ones for a friend and some for myself too.
Then I was considering to buy some more. But it is not easy to find miniatures in this size. Especially Sci-Fi.
Actually I've find some Tehnolog and OOP Fantasy Flight Games miniatures. But still looking for more. Especially zombies and other monsters that I could use as proxies for Mutant Chronicles Dark Legion minions. There are some cheap toy soldiers in 1:32 scale that could be usufull.

I've found that MARS Figures have some 1/32 figures that could be nice as "heretics" or "rebels".

the only 1/32 SF that I have are decades old figures from Britains (they had an odd looking range but it included aliens and vehicles) and Airfix (they had a box of mixed SF figures in their 1/32 range).
You might find them on ebay.
The Britains ones seem to be more common
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

If you can still find them, search for Star Wars Command. No zombies, but loads of clone troopers and other SW figs, including the Rebels crew and various robots.

There are some 54mm post apoc figues out there, and I remember a thread on here about them from a few years ago. Google should still find it.

Tamiya and Dragon do sets of moderns, including private military contractors

Huge amount of 54mm on Etsy. Also if its 3d printed most will print in 54mm if you ask, even if its not advertised.

Well, that was a lot longer ago than I remembered. From 2013 - https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=57125.0

I have no idea if any of it is still about, but it's worth a read

Thanks  :)
I yet read the old topic about zombies. There should be some plastic toys of zombies, but most are available just in U.S.
There are some miniatures on Etsy, but I was looking for cheaper miniatures to build a small army of 15 zombies.

Here a link about zombies I found:

These guys could be interesting too, but I don't know where to buy them:

Hey Katsuhiko try looking the littlewarsrevisited forum. Dedicated to 54mm they have a sci fi section that will be of some help

Use to be a big fan of 54mm too, still am, but got sucked into 40mm a year or two ago which is, in my view, the best of both 54mm and smaller sizes like 28mm

Please post what you find
Cheers!
