My One Flag-Two Nations hex based rules have been updated to match the changes that I have been making to the non-hexed set.

I have put a blog post up that discusses two of the changes and used an AAR of the McPherson's Ridge scenario to example the impact of the changes.

the hexes and figures are from Kallistra.
