Is Royal Mail still having problems shipping overseas?

Right, my point is the U.S. used to have special deals with almost everyone, and fortunately we stopped doing that for a majority of countries.  We used to absolutely take it in the pants from pretty much every country.  I'm actually glad we stopped doing so.

My point was more why shipping "from" the U.S. is expensive.  Zero subsidization.

It's May 9th and still no progress with the tracking.

I had enough and after the seller didn't honor their March 20 offer of a refund and difficulty getting a response from her, I called Paypal and they filed a claim and issued me a refund - 180 day protection. I offered to provide the tracking number and the messages I sent and received from the seller on eBay, but was told it wasn't necessary. I feel bad about it and will send the payment again if the plastic sprues show up, but TBF, the seller's tepid reaction and offering nothing but an apology and no response to me asking her to file a claim with Royal Mail, just caused me anxiety - all over a $36.96 transaction.

The day after I called Paypal and the refund was being processed, the seller contacted me. She said I should've messaged her and she would've sent me the refund without the hassle of going through Paypal and the credit card company and also said that she will reach out to the post office to see what happened, as her tracking said the package was delivered, though the tracking I have still said the same thing - I asked her 3 times since May to ask Royal Mail and file a claim. The next day, I got another message saying that after a long conversation with Royal Mail, the package was indeed lost or taken.

It took me two months to get a package from the UK to the western US. 

Not sure if this is a normal time to get through the Brexit Blockade.

My wierdest one was getting a replacement package from Warbases before the original delivered. After I think 9ish weeks, Warbases helpfully sent a replacement as the original was way late even with the issues. Replacement arrived without issue in about two weeks (which is quick since Brexit) and then a week or two later I had another request for import VAT which turned out to be the first package

I had a international signed for package from Eureka UK arrive in 10 days, Canada Post did not even have the reference number in their system when the package was delivered.
It can be a bit hit and miss as most take 4 weeks to arrive.
