The Shadow Crusade

I decided to try painting one of the new Knight lancers.  I'm not sure I have much use for him in games in general but when we play Armatura it will be big enough to put one on the table.



This thing is massive.  The space marines at his feet almost seem like they would be beneath notice. 



Besides other knights and big tanks I'm not sure what it is supposed to fight, exactly.



We'll have a few primarchs in the game so I guess that lance would do a good job of skewering one of them, although it will only be one on the other side.  I guess there will be a few tanks worth its time.




A pretty fun model to work on, though.  Nicely detailed, just a big version of the little ones I've painted so many times now.

That is huge.  I'm sure it will draw quite a bit of attention on the field.

I got some more XIIIth Legion guys done.


Bikes this time.  Nice to get something a little faster into the Ultramarine's force for Armatura.


I also got some casualty figures.





I like these figs.  I'll probably get some more for all of my Legions.  Likely I'll paint up a whole set of each for each one.
