2000AD Rogue Trooper
« on: 25 January 2024, 09:11:12 PM »
Well, kind of.

Been playing with a sprue of Wargames Atlantic SpaceNam and thought they fit the bill.
Not for the original Rogue, but the 90s reimagining that was a bit more grimdark.

Anyway, here's my take on the squad before three of them became gobby biochips.

L-R we have Friday, the hero and last surviving Genetic Infantryman, Top, the platoon sergeant, Lucky, the equipment specialist and finally Eightball, squad sniper.

Straight builds from the WA kit, with a few added GW pouches etc to make it look like they were in the field for a while.

Thanks guys.  :)

They were a bit of an experiment in contrast paint and washes, something new for me. The only bits that had a "proper" highlight were the blue skin and wood bits on the rifles. So it's nice to hear they pass muster.

Never took to Friday, but nice paint jobs - wouldn't look amiss with the Copplestone Castings ones that Kev Dallimore did.

Really nice! I loved that redesign at the time, although I came to appreciate the dark humour and peerless artwork of the original as I matured. Still, the more gritty look of Friday and his ilk were aesthetically on the money for a more "hard scifi" style and these look the business.

WGA keeps pushing out hits.
