"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

I've been tempted by the idea but the rules don't get great reviews.
So many projects..... so little time.......

I've been looking forward to more on this... I like the idea of a game where the object, while still involving lots of shooting, is something other than just blasting each other into little bits.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

I can't help admit that I'm pretty interested as well. Granted, the last thing I need to do is find another game, as I just spent the past two weeks getting everything printed for FASA's Crimson Skies.

I have a load of Hydrissians to get rid of if anybody wants a quick start into Star Mogul. There's about 20 here as well as loads of combat drones and automatic guns to go with the engineer. There's also a jet bike. I have every figure except the big robot tentacled probe. Many doubles although the separate heads mean no two need be alike so you can have a big crew that's still full of individuals :)

£20.00 domestic, £25.00 to America or Europe including postage. PM me if you're interested.

edit: SOLD

I've been a big fan of the line for some time.

Rumor has it that more will be coming out, filling in the missing parts of the factions, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that!

Regarding the rules....I really like them.  There is some 'number keeping' that isn't too bad, but they are straightforward and really depend more on salvaging than straight up fighting.  Plus there is some between game things that are done, giving a real campaign feel.

Here is my 'crew':

I have to say, I really like the sound of this game - the salvaging thing (in between the shooting the other factions to bits thing) sounds great.

I think this means that a trip to the Alpha Forge site to order the rules is on the cards! Well, it IS very nearly Christmas, after all....

Cool! I've got much more to paint up as well...It's always more enjoyable if others are doing the same!

OK, I broke, buckled, succumbed...you name it, and I did it. I went to the Alpha Forge site and ordered the PDF of the basic rules for download. Still waiting to be able to download them, but I'm hoping it will have been authorised by this evening.
As a result, it means that I hope the lieutenant posts lots of his cool Star Mogul stuff to keep me on the straight and narrow!
I imagine, given my lack of willpower, that once more stuff starts popping up on this thread, I'll break, buckle, and succumb once more, and gets lots of minis too!
