Looking for a dwarf in 17/18th Century finery
« on: 15 February 2024, 08:42:05 PM »
Esteemed frequenters of the Fantasy Board,

I'm trying to find a 28mm 'scale' dwarf in some sort of poncey 17/18th Century finery (all lace and frills, possibly a wig, etc).  I've found the Discworld Giamo Casanunda figure (below), who sort of fits the bill, but I'm wondering if there are any other options out there.  I've tried searching some of the obvious (as a non-fantasy gamer) manufacturers (Artel W, Heresy Lab, Hasselfree, Darkstar & Reaper), but I'm not sure what other ranges might be worth checking out.  Is anyone able to suggest suitable figures?

(The intent is for a Necromundan take on Giamo Casanunda - Necromunda's greatest lover.)

If they are still around try Iron Mask miniatures.
They do a line of Three musketeer dwarves. They have
civilians too and they might work.

Don't know if this is quite the look you are after, but I think this Reaper mini has a certain character that might work:

Thank-you all, dwarf pirates is an inspired idea.

I particularly like the look of that Ral Partha one, or the Iron Mask Dwarf King.  I shall have a think and try to settle on a favourite.
