Thanks! With a very thin brush and holding my breath, mainly! No special technique, I'm afraid. There's no list of such markings that I'm aware of. I just based it on other designs on the envelope pack I'd seen for other regiments- I've no idea if this is accurate, it's probably not!

Got the 5th member of the 85th done, giving me a (very small) playable unit. Froth is draining on the Napoleonic front for the time being, but currently forcing myself to get a gun done next.
