Mantic Walking Dead All Out War to return in 2024

The Walking Dead: All Out War will be available to pre-order from January 26th 2024.

This not only includes brand new content and starter sets, but also collections of the previous waves as well

Not sure if the previous waves is stuff they found down the back of the couch, or if they're casting new ones

Currently the only figures I am interested in is the Commonwealth Collection:

I am disappointed in the two "reflected" Commonwealth Soldiers, that is just lazy.

There are a number of named characters that are not in the set - reminiscent of the Hunters release, without Chris, their leader and included in the scenarios.

On the subject of scenarios, I wonder if the relevant scenarios and rules will only be in the rules anthology book?

When will I get my order?
Items will be cast in resin or cast in plastic after the preorder window ends in March. Items should then be at our main UK head office for delivery June-July 2024. We will keep everyone updated if that plan changes (Either earlier, or later!) Orders will ship when every item in that order is ready to go.

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen anything about it in their recent newsletters.

I received the following email on August 30th:

Hello! Clive here from Mantic.

Firstly, I want to thank you for your purchase of The Walking Dead items, it’s been a long wait, but we’re finally at the point where we can start to ship items out to customers who pre-ordered back in January/February this year – it appears that finding all the tools and info for a game released 8 year ago is  bit harder than we anticipated – who’d have thunk it! Thank you for your patience.

To get through the sheer volume of orders we have, and to get started as soon as possible, even whilst we wait for a few final component pieces to complete some orders, we will start shipping out orders that contain Resin only first. These will start next week, and then we work on the orders who’ve ordered Collections and finally Collectors sets. 

Whilst we are hastily doing that, I manged to steal a shot from our photographer Ben as he preps new content for us!

 We have a slight delay on the Collectors Sets, as there are global issues with shipping that are affecting our shipments from China, and the parts came from several factories, and then needed assembling.  To make shipping the collectors sets much faster, we’re actually going to fly in enough copies to fulfil all of those direct orders, so we are just waiting for those to arrive before they can go out the door – it might be a further week or 2.

I have received my box of stuff.

The 2024 anthology includes Days Gone By, Miles Behind Us, Safety Behind Bars, Made To Suffer, Fear The Hunters plus a Whisperers scenario.

I need to look at the previous anthology to see what was in it.

The Commonwealth Collection has eight figures: Pamela, Lance, Princess, Mercer and  4 X Commonwealth Soldiers.

The Commonwealth Soldiers have two different bodies styles and two different heads. This is an improvement on the initial renders which just appeared to be mirrored.

They are multi part and might be a bit fiddly to assemble.
They are supplied with rather flat circular bases - different to the style of the original figures. Hopefully I can find something more suitable.

There is no scenario pack, but there might be card level information,  I have not opened the card sets yet.

Well that's promising - I'd pre-ordered the collectors box via Wayland and have now been given 31 December as the potential shipping date...
