For years con men tricked 'old ladies' out of their money - now the number of people you can reach has gone up - such is the impact of modern technology.  Many years ago (and I mean many) my class sat through a talk by the police about con artists and 'the real world' as part of the 'Preparation For Adult Life' course (compulsory) the school ran.  It worked well (never did by the Humber Bridge) - maybe schools should introduce into these type of classes the electronic scams?

I can see that in this wonderful PC world we live in computers coming with health and wealth warnings soon

I always send them a phone number to get their hopes up. When they call it's a joke line with a voice activated Mr Angry at the other end. The more they talk the angrier he gets.
