Now I'm catching up with life and getting things sorted I've been thinking about some terrain for my 2mm figures.
The first attempt (
seen here) failed due to my lack of skills with cork and the naff stuff I purchased (more me than it though) so I wondered if I could do better with Funky Foam?
I've used this for dirt tracks so I am happy to work with it and I know this sounds strange but:
1) It comes in blue = water, green = farm land, grey = roads, dark green = woods, brown = tracks and black = built up areas
2) It's simple to cut
3) It's cheap (£4 so far)
The end result may not be realistic but I think it may make a 'computer map' or very abstract aerial view.
I have seen one site with SJG Ogre miniatures (
here) where this abstract style has been used and this

is very stylised and works well.
Thoughts please.
