"Nice piece of Gothic terrain"
« on: 30 May 2011, 05:38:55 PM »
I started a thread on VSF asking for ideas how to use the plastic 'castle' from the Dark World boardgame for a stone quay. However, the only reply I got suggested it would work for Gothic Horror.

Thread, with a post of links to piccies:

Not that you couldn't use a quay with horrible creatures climbing out of the river/sea, I was wondering how others might use it.

I must say, gallows was my first thought, followed by a guillotine stage. Other ideas?

This one is definitely lying down by the water, but it's not the only one I've got...

How about the ruins of a castle or some other large building?  One of the scenarios in CiC takes place at the ruins of Castle Dracula and it might work for the ruins.  Or it could be an old temple to some nameless god.
