Crashed Zero "Fallen Samurai" - 28mm terrain piece for Far East/Pacific Theatre

G'day LAFfers,

I present my latest terrain piece for 28mm Far East Pacific gaming as we at Perth Miniatures Gamers Group get in some games in anticipation of the forthcoming Chain of Command Far East rules supplement. 

This is a generic piece of terrain which could be found wherever the IJN might have been encountered.  1/48 Mitsubishi Zero 'Easy' kit from Pegasus, with scratchbuilt landscape and jungle made from mdf and cork, hot glue, acrylic caulk, interior paint, and aquarium/faux garden plants.

I call it "Fallen Samurai".

Really nice.  I ORDERED SAME KIT last week, for the airfield on my Pacific table

Cheap!  9 bucks!  Also ordered a Tamiya for a couple bucks more

Nice!. Did the same thing with a Tamiya 'Jack' and another Zero a few years back. If you fancy doing more then have a look at some of the older Tamiya kits, they generally retail for less than the Pegasus one and you can really go to town with an open cockpit.
