Great minis and lovely paint jobs - on a completely different tasngent - although inspired by your blog - personally, when in more whimsical frames of mind,  I've always hankered after a set of woodland animals dressed in Edwardian garb brandishing cudgels and pistols so I could game the more exciting episodes from The  Wind in the Willows!  :D

Sounds like fun. Let us know if you find those minis, be interested to know how it turns out!

Hi all,

Some new progress pics on the Battle of Frogonia website! The royalist forces are steadily increasing.

Can King Ribbidibit prevail over evil? Or will Captain Pondscum become the new ruler of Frogonia?

Check out the latest on http://battle-of-frogonia.blogspot.com/

Yay your back! I really like Scrump, how are you going to finish off the bases? Are you going to try and make them marshy or look like a pond?

Thinking on putting something algae-ish on the bases, some flock as well, so it's kind of like they're coming out of the pond onto grass ... does that even make sense?

These are great!
Looking forward to a battle report.

Hoping to have enough minis done to have a game at the end of the month! We'll see how we go, shall we?

Alas no game yet - the gaming horizon is looking a little bleak at the moment, I must say - but at least some progress on the troops!

Enjoy!

Hi Princess, they look really good, are the bases finished (they look like they need a little green on them).

Nope, they are missing the green. Going to put some "grass" on the bases, but will probably do that at the end :-)

I'm afraid the small matter of the LPL has taken up most of my time these past ten weeks - the idea is still smouldering quietly in the back of my mind though...

Thanks  :) they're great fun to paint!

Glad to hear the project is still on the cards ... good luck with LPL! I haven't checked the last couple of rounds ... which models are yours in this round?

They do look very good, and just about ready to beat the snot out of my pirates!
