I love Feddick's pose, with that hand gently motioning forward as if to say "if you please gentlemen, advance thusly to end their lives."

Thanks.  I seem to be able to get the single mini shot right, but can't seem to get the depth of field right for the group shot, unless they're almost in a straight line.  More practice required.

That Commissar is one of my favourite GW sculpts of all time.

Do you have a zoom function? The closer your camera is to the minis, the more difficult it is to control depth of field in my experience. Agreed on the Commissar, that guy has got some real personality for a relatively relaxed pose.

It's a DSLR, so I think I need to set to manual and play with the aperture setting.  It's just finding the time to have a play, then uploading and checking the results.  This weeks shots seem to have come out better.
