Have some of those light sabers been replaced with translucent plastic/acrylic rod, or is that just really perfect highlighting?

Those Jedi kids are wonderful and I love the scenery, well done! The conversions of the light sabers is indeed very effective! I like the Senegalese as well, they do have that jungle feeling :)
Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

Thanks chaps.   :)
The models are indeed Hasslefree (Mystic Warrior kids) with a single Okko piece (Master Kanatta - middle).
The lightsabers are clear coloured plastic rods replacing the original blades.
Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb...

Thanks, Pil! I like the photo better than my paint job...! lol  The title was supposed to be Senegalese Surrounded, but I must have forgotten the second word...d'oh.  Not that it would have made a difference -- D@rth's Jedi are clearly better painted.

I was edging up close to him in the standings with my massive one win, but this should definitely pull the toilet lever on me in the Leaderboard!  ;)  Still, I REALLY like how next round's entries are shaping up on my painting table.  Maybe they can snag me a second win in the League before it's over...

Having a blast so far...

Do you have a link to where we could get some?

They are acrylic fluorescent rods from Plastruct.  They are available in a variety of colours (clear, red, yellow, blue and green) and diameters (1.6mm, 3mm etc).  I got mine from a local hobby store. The Plastruct website is not very helpful, but I would try a hobby or model train shop.
