All of my Geezers miniatures (Killer Bee Games) are finally painted.  Now all I nned to do is re-read the rules and actually play a few games. ; )

Thats it... nothing too exciting.  Its just nice to actually finish a project.

How did you paint the police uniforms?

I'm still having trouble getting the blue dark enough.

To be honest, these were painted by Pictor Studio.  I will ask them what color pallet they used and get back to you.

In my opinion police uniforms, especially Met Police uniforms should look closer to black than blue. I paint my police figures black and then highlight them with a very dark grey/black mix.
Talking from experience the uniform I wore when I served in the Met was so dark blue it looked black. I know it's not relevant to the 70's but in the late 90's we were issued with pullovers that clearly were blue but the contrast with the rest of the uniform which was made from the same material and pattern used for decades was clear to see.
Don't!

For the record the miniatures are painted black.  The blue cast you see is probably due to the blue background.

+1
Yeah most "dress blues" are really a dark midnight blue color.
