Regarding Goblins in space- there's also the Bohkin by Hasslefree, they're kinda goblinoid:

Basicks has part of the 'old' Micro Art range, including the Soviet goblins, that should work well enough for a more comedy approach: clickety

You could combine them with the MaxMini pirate Gobbo heads ( http://www.maxmini.eu/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_23&products_id=158 ) for a bit more variety and add the Kromlech Artillery Crew ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kromlech-Goblin-Artillery-Crew-Orc-War-2-ork-/151053737600?pt=Games_US&hash=item232b811e80 )

Could've sworn there's some others as well, but that just might have been some 15mm or 20mm stuff that could be used as goblins.
