I suspect the colour camouflage was in fact the original French camouflage scheme?

I'm not sure whether it is the French system but have decided on trying the camouflage scheme. I have undercoated black and then dry-brushed light brown as a base colour. However, i'm thinking that beige/cream may be a better base.

I'll have to brush up on the pattern.

I appear to have acquired a couple of lovely looking RCW White units to add to my Chinese as allies.

Ohh and i've doubled my British - painted too. Not to mention the Gurkhas in slouch hats

Happy days! I took possession of the remainder of my painted Chinese yesterday and rather splendid they look too.

I just have to base everything and will then have to collar Bolshy for a nice big game.

So, all that is outstanding is the armoured train
