Homemade Resin Stone Walls
« on: 28 October 2015, 07:07:29 PM »
Recently finished some master models to cast my own resin walls and learned the entire production process in the meanwhile. In the picture you can see the stone walls which are around 10cm long and some pillars which are used to connect the walls and construct enclosures and other set-ups. No air bubbles in the moulds and very minimal bubbles in the actual cast, so very happy.

I have also started to cast some small broken down wall pieces which can also be used to create more set-ups. In the meanwhile I'm working on some ruins not sure if they will be cast but I already like them. More pictures will follow. A special thanks to Phil of Slug Industries for the information about casting resin earlier this year!

Comments and remarks more than welcome and these will see extensive use in Frostgrave!

An impressive development, glad you made the plunge into casting. It's an emotion rollercoaster but just how happy are you with each and every cast?  ;)
