28mm Sharpe and Harper
« on: March 27, 2014, 07:13:02 PM »
Sorry people, probably a dull topic but I am after some heroes for my 95th Rifles by the Perry's. I have seen the Alban ones but I am not sure they will fit. Anyone have some suggestions?

Yes, I suspect you would find Alban to be on the thin side.  I am not too familiar with the Perry's 95th but what about doing a head swap or some-such with the 95th command pack?

Didn't Redoubt do a Sharpe and Harper some years ago? Cannot see them on their website so perhaps I am mis-remembering as the politicians call it.

Still there, but the Napoleonic section seems to have vanished from the website:

My Sharpe and Harper came from Chiltern Miniatures, here they are with some Perry Rifles in colour and other manufacturers, Britannia and Front Rank in metal.

Unfortunately I don't know who has the range now.

SHQ. They are in the Fantasy/Victorian characters section of their website

The Redoubt napoleonics are all (S & H included) quite short compared to either Perry or FR.

I ended up getting the Chiltern ones which are a little big compared to FR (!), but that's kind of appropriate for the heroes.

I'd say the Alban ones probably are actually the best match for Perry figures.

(I also have several of the Flintloque versions. And the theme tune as my phone ringtone.. :-)
