Army Painter Quick shade test (Method 1)
« on: 26 August 2008, 07:29:00 AM »
I uploaded my first test about the use of the Army Painter - Quick shade

http://perrysheroes.free.fr/spip.php?article178

It really saves painting time for a quite decent result. Though I still have the base to paint and flock, I think that the final amount of time consumed would be around 6 hours. It's half of the time that I usually need to paint 12 minis.

Next time, I'll paint another british section with another method ( highlight before the quick shade this time).

Looks pretty good to me!  I've just ordered some quick shade, I'm really hoping I'll be able to get some figs finished during this lifetime. :D

My can should be arriving any day now.  I got some late war US Airborne and SS Grenadier armies to paint up.  Hope it saves me enough time to use them in some cons in Sept. and Nov.

I like that effect. Very subtle and realistic shading.

I must get some.  :)
