one other thing, do you have some details of how you made the casualty blood splat markers?

I do, good sir. They are see-through counters from http://www.em4miniatures.com

Splodge on red/brown paint and then a couple of layers of Tamiya clear red.

You may be quite right - I couldn't find a good image of what colour the seats should be, so pretty much stuck with the same as the rest of the carriage. Did you find a picture.

If this gun is painted in the authentic colour of the time a lot of us are going to be repainting our models I think!

Ahhh, I'm seeing loads of Sudan inspiration around the Blogoshpere, which reminded me that I've not posted my last few bits up. These were supposed to be the last for a while before starting new projects, but everyone beavering away on their a Sudan collections is making my mouse-finger hover over the perry website...
