I think Annie is great for taking a stand- something has been p***ing her off, and she has done something about it. Good on you Annie. You have some great figures in your collection.

Very nice selection of believable female miniatures.

The more Pulp characters you add the more I'll back this noble effort, with my wallet.

Great idea. Nice selection so far. Don't forget about Hinterland. And Gringo 40s has some nice females in his Mexican revolution range.

Yep!  Hinterland ladies are just the ticket for you!!

Please do contact Wally Harwood of Harwood Hobbies.

Many of Wally's Women would work well for you.

Keep mining the Bob Murch Pulp Figures motherlode, even his risque dames manage to stay clad...

& another vote for Pulp Alley Miniatures as done by Statuesque, tough gals dressed for adventure.

I'm puzzled about the presence of the angry beavers in the list!

This being said, while they aren't clothed, they're fantastic minis!

I too had a head scratching moment, but I do like 'em!!
Wish there were fewer to the pack though...  or are they all unique?

Keep up the good great work Annie!!

This needed doing, & you've made a damn good start on it, I salute you.

Nothing against sexy models, not trying to ban them or anything like that, literally just taking action by not being negative about the things I don't like, but being  encouraging and supportive about more of the things I see to be positive for the hobby. And by the constant messages appearing in my inbox, plenty of people agree (which is awesome!)

This is a great attitude. Making an effort to provide what you feel is lacking instead of trying to take away what you feel there's too much of is actually productive. There's too much "Stop liking what I don't like!" going around, so this is very refreshing.

This one I really like:

Thanks, yeah I really like her too! Once I get some free time again (ha, maybe on my brow mopping week after Salute) I was planning on getting one or two for myself to mix in with the crossbow unit in my SAGA warband.

Keep the good suggestions coming, although I am a bit overwhelmed with suggestions as there have been some great ones, I'm putting them on a list for when I sell enough to buy more in (I could easily run out of money quickly if not careful!) So the more people buy, the bigger the range will get!

Cheers
Annie

What about Thunderbolt Mountain? Very natural sculpts by the master of anatomy, Tom Meier.

These are 25mm scale. There are some more under the header 'Legendary Figures'.

They also have some brilliant 30mm:

Can you still buy Newbold Miniatures?

If "yes" I painted these a few years back.

Hi,

I really like your concept too ! I just sent you an email from your website, I didn't know you were on lead adventure too.

Like I said in the email, you may take a look on Metal Magic range of female miniatures, wich will match your needs, I believe. I painted one female adventurer  some time ago :

I painted this mini because I especially wanted a female miniature wich was not some kind  of sculpted version of a pornstar with an axe  lol

Thanks chaps!

Unfortuantely I can't get every range I'd love. Some only sell direct, others have high minimum orders that make stocking a few models impossible. I'm hoping some of these change their minds as the project keeps growing  :D

----

Sorry for the silence (including emails) rushed off my feet with Salute prep, but wanted to share the start of my own miniatures range. A very small start, but it's going to grow quickly! Dark Ages to start, sky is the limit (please email me suggestions for historical characters/units, I've had some great ones so far, any period!)

Here is the very first of many! A very limited (very!) amount will be at Salute, and available to buy from the webshop a short while afterwards. THREE others of her sisters in arms are currently in various stages of the sculpting process.

Sculpted by Phil Hynes and painted up by Paul Cubbins.

very nice project. wife and I have started collecting not-too-much-sexualized or anyway not ridicuously-posed female minis. Tale of War have some nice examples you might be interested to.

good luck!
