I'm really sorry, I accidentally deleted your post.

You asked a good question about what happens when a wizard casts Mind Control on a soldier that is already Mind Controlled.  In this case the new spell overrides and effectively dispells the original Mind Control.

So a wizard can effectively use Mind Control to 'win back' a member of his own warband that has been Mind Controlled.
