Conquest Miniatures vs. Galloping Major
« on: 08 October 2015, 07:28:55 PM »
I'm looking to expand my M&T army. Currently all my figures are Conquest Miniatures, which I really like. How do the Conquest Miniatures match up against Galloping Major miniatures? Galloping Major has some nice figs, but I would like them to fit in with my current units. I've looked at Blue Moon, but them seem a little bulky in comparison.

Thanks in advance

Most of my miniatures are Conquest, as well. The sculpting of the Blue Moon ones, although full of character in their boxed sets, looks crude compared to Conquest, IMO. That said, I own some old school Old Glory British regulars that match up on the tabletop against my Conquest in games, regularly. You kind of mentally lose that level of detail when you're playing the game. The spectacle of the entire table takes over. When you are painting them up and photographing them, well, that is when you most notice that the detail and sculpting of Blue Moon/Old Glory suffers in comparison.

Sorry that I can't answer on the Galloping Major...I know they look gorgeous in the pics folks have posted. I just haven't pulled the trigger and purchased any, yet!
