Home made Inkjet decals
« on: 24 November 2015, 03:16:00 PM »
I'm sure this has been covered multiple times before but can't seem to find the information I'm trying to find.
Can anyone recommend a good make of decal paper for use with a home inkjet printer (canon in my case) that is available in the UK?
Looking to make heraldic decals for medieval figures as well as cyphers for napoleonic cavalry shabraques amongst others.

Cheers Tony.

I got mine here :
http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/GTI-20-A4-INKJET-LIGHT-WATER-TRANSFER-PAPER-CUP-DECAL-CRAFT-/290570124786?hash=item43a7543df2

transparent decals for inkjets (I also print on a canon)
You do need to seal them with a gloss acrylic spray.

some examples of decals I printed :

WWW2 DAK symbol on t-shirt (decal sheet is thicker than commercial decals which can be seen here as the outline of the decal shows, despite using microsol/microset)

number on a 15mm building :

Minions' eyes and Gru Industries symbol on overalls:
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
