15mm WWII British
« on: 03 December 2008, 03:17:17 PM »
As I have mentioned before, I started playing some 15mm WWII using the Crossfire rules.  And thanks to the advice of some of LAF members, I picked up some nice 15mm WWII figures.

These are the two companies I've painted so far: A British Leg Company for me and a British Indian Leg Company for my friend Tom, who I've been playing against.

The British are Peter Pig figures.  The British Indians are a job-lot Tom picked up dirt cheap that feel like FoW sculpts, but I'm not sure as I can't find any FoW British Indians for sale, anywhere! Oh, and a few PP 8th Army British Indians to make up the numbers.

There is a little but of a shine from the final coat of satin varnish - but what the hell - they're for gaming! ;)

I think I need to paint some Germans next!!

Those are nice!  :-*

I own quite a few Peter Pig British figures myself and they are very good mimis. I didn’t have any HMG Team myself but, judging by your photos, they look pretty good. I might order some. lol
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

To be honest, they took more than one day to paint Poiter50 ;)  But they were fun to paint! :)

On a different forum someone suggested that they may be ERM British Indians, but either way, they're well worth taking the time!
