A building Project
« on: 13 March 2016, 03:33:53 PM »
All,
Miniature Building Authority here in the US, produces very nice, very pricey ready to use models for gamers.  They recently released a French farmhouse perfect for a variety of WWII scenarios and other eras as well.  The price for it is prohibitive to me, at least for a single item, so I was determined to model one from scratch.  With about $6.00 in material and 5 hours of my to time, I produced I think, a passable version of that model.

Looks good. I'm still trying to learn how to build terrain.

I've since built a barn to go with the farmhouse.  Next will likely be a "Normanish"  church and a mill with water wheel.  I am actually getting most of the inspiration from the old Combat TV series that I watched as a kid and have started rewatching on video.
