Mini topiary ball
« on: March 23, 2016, 09:50:15 PM »
Picked up a mini topiary ball today, one of those plastic foliage jobs, at BM Home bargains, reduced from £5 to £1.99.

Stripped all the bits of foliage off it - surprised at just how much there was (more than I expected) but I'm also left with two spiky "igloo" shaped plastic frames, about the size of a grapefruit, that might make an interesting basis for a SF/fantasy building.

Same here, I guess it figures if you calculate spherical surface to flat surface covered.

I recently found out two of my friends have an irrational terror of topiary. (I sheet you not!). Apparently from some kids book.

Poundland also have one - smaller than the other (large orange size rather than grapefruit) and different shaped foliage.
