Cheers Michka, the little sculpt is in between constructive surgery sessions at the moment as I got distracted by real life and painting another gang member:

A more subdued palette than the previous two, but I thought it kind of suited the somewhat dour figure. New scenery too to replace my scaled down 7TV printouts, the new ones were very much inspired by the hard work and ingenuity of the Tiny Solitary Soldiers blogger... so a big thank you to him for putting his work out there for idle chaps like me to enjoy. Still lots of weathering to do as well as more gang members and some inhabitants for the Spaceship/station/Arctic base/Lair/whatever....

Thanks for looking.

Another finished figure for the scurvy space pirate crew! Just one more left until the first set is finished.

Thanks for looking.

Woah! Forgot I had this thread.... so I'm working a bit of Necromancy..... Yeah, in the Future and using Magic! Living the dream.

Since I'm getting excited about the impending Osprey release I thought I'd paint up some Sci-Fi stuff as a break from fantasy sculpting and here they are.

A Xeno-Archaeologist from the Ion Age range, actually a trader of some kind but I think she is suitable for an 'academic in the field' role. The other fellow is an Alien from one of the Khurasan packs, alien criminals perhaps? Not sure, but I love his (or her) Dr.Who 'man in a rubber suit' vibe.

Thanks for looking.

Welcome back to life  :)
Good work on these, the Ion Age civilians/scientists where on my "to buy" list, though I wasn't very sure of their looks. The images on their website aren't always the best seller.

Great thread and some inspiring paint jobs. I've recently gotten into 15mm SF, but my interest is more into single figures than armies.

So far I've just done some GZG civvies, but I'm enjoying the scale.
