My predictions for 2017 include.

1. Analysis of the amusing graphical representation of the declining qualty of Voldemort Games' produts vs their rising costs will show the crossover of the two vectors to have taken place some years ago.

2. Rick Priestly will reveal a groundbreaking and innovative new game system that will be widely applauded until someone twigs that it's just a tarted up derivative of something he did ten years ago, except for triple the price. His alter ego, Rick (the P is silent) Astley will re-release ' Never Gonna Give You Up' (again).

3. The truth will emerge that the newly appointed editor of a major UK gaming magazine is in fact a tramp from Bermondsey. Buckfast will become a major sponsor and there will be a special Salute edition featuring a fashion guide to nazi uniforms.

4. 2017 will not be the year of Kickstarters.
