Mike -

The US Polar Bear Expedition troops from Brigade Games, and the Great White North figures from HLBS (now owned by Tiger) might have some very useful figs for the very purpose you speak of. Just a suggestion.

I love the ice - such a simple idea, but so effective.

Looks great - are you going to create Strange Aeon rules for this?

Maybe you know this but there are many nice sets out there: West Wind, Copplestone, RAFM, Pulp Figures, Brigade... Who took over HLBSC? Tiger?

The only one I have not got is the Pulp Figures 'Courageous Mountineers':

I use them in my 'Blood on Kvidöya' scenario:

Also, be warned: I may nick your idea and run with it myself! :)

Wow.  Great stuff.  I was just about to ask "how important is great terrain to this game?" and now I know.  I love making terrain!!!

I stopped playing Mon-Poc about a year ago.  Looks like it's time to look through them and see what will go with my 1:72 and 25mm figures.  Your coversion / repaint is brilliant looking!

Lovely job.  I'm waiting for the MonApoc stuff to be available as singles - no interest in the game but can find a use for the figures.
