Miniatures suitable for Drake's RCN universe?

I just finished up David Drake's RCN series and found it to be enjoyable and full of scenarios for skirmishes in his unique universe so for anyone that's read at least some of the series do you have any suggestions for suitable figures for Leary, Mundy, the servants, and the crew of the Cecile? 28mm is preferable but i could probably be talked into 15mm if the figures are right.
