Seriously though...in re French in general but mainly late war...

Once I started looking into purchasing minis it never occurred to me just how underrepresented the French army is! Based on the dearth of French minis one would think that the UK and the US wine the war single handedly!

Considering just how small of a sector the UK covered on the Western Front, same goes for the US, one would think the French would be better represented.

I've often wanted ask why you all took your web site down, it was filled with a lot of great pics and such. Didn't you also have some really good painting guides on it?

We didn't really have enough time to do the web site justice...

There's a specific color of feldgrau I've seen on your minis via a couple of distributors. I've tried going through them in order to find out who painted them (assuming it to be one of the GWM crew) so as to get some contact info so I could ask about the color...I got no replies. I keep thinking your original site mentioned it.  If I PM'd you with the pics could you possibly help me out?

One last thing....why didn't you all create any late war French?

Time... the old enemy.... like many other things... it's on the list... we haven't stopped supporting the range... it is still alive,but real life and work have a habit of getting in the way and slowing things down

They have certainly "saved" a lot of fine art from the chateau, though I suspect some of those paintings are copies

Particularly sneaky of them to manage to get past the Entente lines, into the Louvre, and out again like that.

I presume that's Claude Monet's print of The Great Wave they've got there, the rotters! I hope they at least paid to get in to the gardens at Giverny.
