Oh, so its the sports car version!? Hah! :D

Yeah, the first thing I noticed with it was the engine deck. So its down to WoT and their fictional variants then. That explains a lot. Thanks.

Ah, and they did the same thing with the E-100 when it came to getting the thing through tight spaces. Even without its side skirts it still couldn't fir through train tunnels. :)

Sure thing  ;)

Technically, With the E75 hull and the E50M tracks, I can also offer a standard E50.

They just keep coming...

Brent, how are you differentiating the E-50/ E-75 other than the turrets/ tracks. Are you going for the glacis placement which was posted in Ballardian's thread as well? Any other changes? Specifically - how will your E-75 different a regular Tiger II ...or is this too early to be asking that?

Ah, and yeah, I'd be up for buying a regular E-50 from you (with the original turret, without the bustle, along with a smaller gun) if you sold that. :)

I'm using the E-75 blueprints, and ref from some shots of the 1/35 model.  But if you have specifics, please send them along.

Painted 1:56 E50M with 88mm

Ok, now that the "official" non-altered build was completed, I can start to make my own E50M and customized it without having everyone complain that those parts don't come with the kit!

Basic build of the e50M so far, but a few things added:
Details from panzer parts box
Scratch details
Custom turned brass 88mm gun
Scratch built spare track

I couldn't wait for the CAD on the spare track to be complete and printed...so I make one link to tide me over.  This will go into the metal mold this week for a pile of little metal track links.  I have an extra of the turned brass barrel, but with a muzzle break.  That may need to go into the mold as well for some copies  ;)

On the other side, I removed a section of skirt and will replace it with thin foil to make it look properly worn bent.  Also, a few buddies for another size shot.  The SU76i looks just minuscule next to it.

I'll go for an urban camo paint job.  But first..more details need to be added... Stay tuned.

Looking good - have you ever considered getting a small CNC lathe & turning out your own barrels? You'd be the only one making 1/56 (they already exist in every other scale from 1/72 to 1/6) & they undoubtedly look better than anything that can be made in resin or pewter.

I second ballardians notion!  Make us barrels!  And track links!
Remember the patina!
