a few photos of my game from Salute a few years back....

The Washington Monument (or what is left of it) was 4 feet tall, and the raised sections with the subway in are another 6" so it gave the table a bit of height.


The train tunnel was just a bit of shameless window dressing on my part.




Initial setup, including a view of the Lincoln Memorial....was delighted to be told that i'd done a great job on the Parthenon...made the ten months of work worthwhile.


The starting point for the astronauts...If this is the best they've got around here, in six months we'll be running this planet.

That's funny, I distinctly remember the Washington monument being shorter after the flying saucer rammed into it in that Harryhausen movie.
