On of my buddies that worked with NASA was telling me the other day that they always thought it would be funny, to get a bunch of masks and greet the Shuttle crew like that when they landed.

Are you sure? They sell Eureka which has a range of apes in boilersuits.

the only other company I can think of is Mega minis who recently produced a few..bit dodgy to my eyes however

I'm not sure about the Blaze Away apes either.   They would get the job done, but they're not brilliant.
