Would these infantry minis from May'40 be suitable for KNIL Far East?

Although the Marines did fight in both theaters, I believe their colonial uniforms were quite different from what was worn in the Netherlands.

Besides that, the equipment was quite different and in most cases decidedly better and more modern!
