Well, I'm getting around to making a new set of dungeon tiles...
I had some 2 1/2 inch squares of plywood that I planned on using for something for over a year and, well, I have access to a laser etcher/cutter at the library, so I've got an idea for some rather simple tiles that ought to be rather cheap to do while looking great.

What I plan on doing for the rest of it is a spray primer, then the stone texture spray, a black wash, a layer of clear spray, and then some felt on the underside.
Now, if I make more tiles, I'm not going to buy the tiles pre-cut and start with a larger piece of plywood with two passes through the etcher/cutter. First to engrave the tiles, and the second to cut the piece correctly for what I want. It should drop the price down per tile.
One really nice thing with the size of the tiles is that they fit inside the rather cheap boxes for trading cards...
