Great additions to our Grand Alliance! Helen, a very interesting topic you chose. I do know nothing about the Hungarian Uprising but will listen to the podcast Aly recommended. And Admiral I am once again surprised that your painting makes ordinary Rank-and-File troopers look kinda special.

Beautiful entrys!!!!
When this painting league came up i was inspired to finaly paint again after a break.
Unfortunatly i was never much into historical gaming.

Also wouldnt start a complete new period...
Then i had the idea painting my favorite Boardgame. Battle Cry.
Pefect start to paint again and real fun.
Thanks to you i have now a painted Battle Cry.

Honestly not sure where this guy came from, was in a box of superhero miniatures waiting to be painted.

Maybe he's one of my Anachronauts? Oh well, always fun to try something different.
