Having just completed painting the Perry 28mm ACW Battle in a Box set, I took their scenario 'Taking the Farm' from the easy set rulebook supplied and set a game up in a 4 x 3 1/2' space.

Four games in the past week of the dungeon crawl.  Three losses.  The Halfling, it turns out...not as quick and nimble as he thought.

We ran another OHW this afternoon,scenario 15,another good game,close result,lots of fun

On Sunday, we played a 3 player re-match of our last Fistful of Lead: Tales of Horror game. Survivors scrounged amongst zombies & roaming wolves. There were chainsaws, misfiring shotguns, burning houses...survivors dying on the very first turn..haha...that was one of my characters. One lone survivor managed to find keys & fuel but was mauled before she could make it to the get-away car.

Cracking game of For King & Parliament that proved a complete disaster for my Roundheads.

The more nimble Swedish-style Royalist cavalry sliced and diced their Parliamentarian opponents, destroying all three units for the loss of only one of their own. That meant that I had to divert troops to shore up the position, leaving me short of infantry (and victory coins!) for the clash on the other flank. A crushing defeat!

A 'virtual' game of Sharp Practice with a French force desperately trying to capture a local water source being defended by a British force.
After some initial problems the Brits got their firing mojo into action pouring volley after volley into the French lines, and with the Brit commander taking the initiative and sending his line troops in small groups into the French lines they eventually won the day.
