My latest mission on a Five Parsecs from Home campaign.
The crew of the Galactic Iceberg take on some Gene-Splicers, genetically altered humans who spliced alien genes with their own to alter their appearance. I used Northstar Miniature figures for most of them.
The crew came out on top

Beautiful pics! Is that pyramid a kit, scratch built, something in between? I want one!

More Mars Code Aurora. Xenomorphs (Hunger) manage a one point win over ABC Warriors (Science) as the Aliens find out just how effective Snapshot (i.e., Overwatch) is as a tactic.

6 mm O Group.  The 4th Royal Scots Fusiliers attacks in January 1945 crossing the Seffeler Bach.

The British (from right) had to bridge the stream and drive off the Germans.  The ground was sodden though so moving off road was difficult and the Germans had fortified the village with mines, wire, dug outs and turned some of the houses into bunkers.

Yes, that is a very nice advertisement for small scale games.

That O Group table is brill.....

I have been feeling a bit anti-social lately, so decided to continue a solo-campaign for Under the Martian Yoke

Things did not go well for my little survivor band, as immediately a Martian Tripod showed up to wreck their morning......

Wow, for a first game back at the campaign; this was a disaster for my survivors!  You can read all about it here:

https://bloodandspectacles.blogspot.com/2024/09/battle-report-under-martian-yoke-holed.html

Things went from bad, to worse, to very bleak......

This Friday past, we played some 28mm modern(ish) action using Fistful of Lead: Bigger Battles.  It's 1991, and this was a company(-)-sized action with US Marines and local troops on a mission to rescue the US Ambassador to Balczakistan (our fictional former Soviet republic).  The full scenario and 3-part battle report is up on my "Modern Stuff" thread.

This Sunday was our Halloween themed game. So, I finally tried Zombie RV with a big battle -- six players, 12 survivors, and who knows how many zombies hit the tabletop? The game worked out great, but was one of the deadliest for the survivors, yet.

For the full battle report (and LOTS more photos), go to my blog entry:
