I love looking at pics of Civil War games, because I know...at some point, I'll collapse and build a game or force for it.

+1. I have 28mm skirmish, but it's the big battle stuff that's calling out to me too.

Last Saturday we played the battle of Kalisz, 1706 Great Northern War.
The course of history was changed, as the Swedes achieved a marginal victory!
15mm, Volley and Bayonet rules.

All day ACW game with the terrain loosely based around part of the Shiloh battlefield. It all went fairly historical to start with but the Union reinforcements failed to push back the Rebels and both their flanks broke while many of their units were still in column. Great game though.

A game of Star Wars Armada against my boy. Despite him throwing in the Imperial Star Destroyer I won! Which was a nice revanche for my defeat at the squash court that morning
