Sci-fi Mantic Deadzone using 40k miniatures. Must say these rules are great fun. Best of all are the exploding d8s which make a refreshing change from d6s. Have as yet not tried 3rd edition.
See: https://www.manticgames.com/games/deadzone/featured-products-deadzone/

Excellent review here: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1132161/deadzone-aint-your-daddys-table-top-miniatures-gam

I found vinyl floor tiles with squares the right and same size as the board – a much cheaper option, with terrain just bits of scrap.

A game of Full Spectrum Dominance with a friend.

For the first time I realized that I'm actually becoming good at this game! Which is not that surprising, considering I designed and wrote it.

Interesting and unique looking terrain... looks great.  Also curious about the game, is it in 6mm?
Gods, monsters and men,
Will die together in the end.

Herewith, a somewhat different take on the Of Gods and Mortals Osprey Game. The Warhammer miniatures, Stormcast Eternal sorts being used as an angelic host that have travelled across dimensions via an arcane portal into the very bowels of Hell to take on an evil warlock and his demonic forces. This is one of my ongoing games to try and play at least one game from every book in Osprey's blue wargame series. It was a bit impromptu so I will need to try these rules again but my youngest son and I had fun especially with the spell effects and summoning. Hope you enjoy the little storyline. I introduced a friend to Stargrave; he usually plays Epic and likes big complicated games so this was a good change of pace for him. I supplied the figures and was pleased he elected to base his crew on East Meg One from Judge Dredd - gotta love a minis agnostic system.

The game itself played well and I think he'll try it again. His main complaint was the randomness of the d20 system. next time will try with 2d10.

Herewith, a Sci-Fi, Planet 28 Game, using 40k Miniatures. Pushed the boundaries of the game here with way more minis than normal. Converted movement and ranges to inches and also increased the distance of these and then also pretty much halved all the hit points to make for a quicker game with less record keeping. This was the first game trying these Planet 28 rules. See more pictures and information here: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2022/01/golgothas-sci-fi-planet-28-game-using.html

Last photo, last turn, last move of a 5-player Exploit Zero mission, a field test for prototype cyber-augs.
