My friend Keith ran a World War II scenario using the Sci-Fi rules, Xenos Rampant! It worked out okay, but we definitely need to tweak some troop types. We had a post-battle discussion and are re-tooling for another game...hopefully soon!

Impromptu game at the FLGS last weekend, a quick throw-down for an Earls' War between Anglo-Saxon armies of Siward Earl of Northumbria vs. Eadwulf Earl of Bamburgh.

We've been very happy using the clay mini poker chips for tokens — very easy to handle.  Here in the US, got the chips from Discount Poker, and a set of holding trays for them that fit in a Plano box from Etsy (these chips are very popular with board gamers who like to use them instead of paper moneys).
